Is my item covered?
Our one-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal use. The examples below can help you determine whether your issue may be covered.
Covered
- Defects in original stringing (for example, breakage under normal use)
- Knotting, wirework, or clasp failures
- Connecting components such as jump rings or links
- Faulty assembly
- Other manufacturing defects in materials or craftsmanship
Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear over time
- Damage from pulling, snags, impact, or misuse
- Lost beads or components when the cause cannot be determined
- Damage from water, perfume, chemicals, or improper storage
- Natural variation in gemstones, pearls, or other materials
- Alterations or repairs by third parties
Shipping for Warranty Repairs
Customers are responsible for shipping the item to our studio in China using a prepaid, trackable service. Once a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Sophia Guo Studio will cover one standard return shipment to your address. If the issue is not covered, we will provide a repair quote and return-shipping cost before any work begins.
Repairs Outside the Warranty
Whenever possible, we are happy to assist with repairs that fall outside the warranty. Repair materials, service fees, and return shipping will be quoted in advance, and no paid work will begin without your approval.
Natural Materials & Matching
Natural stones and pearls vary in color, shape, pattern, and size. If an exact match is unavailable, we will select the closest suitable alternative and consult you before the repair is completed.
Additional Terms
This warranty applies to the original purchaser of Sophia Guo Studio jewelry bought through our official website and requires proof of purchase. Depending on the item and issue, we may provide a repair, replacement component, replacement item, or another appropriate resolution.
